Notwithstanding anything written in the prevailing law, during the investigation of a case of conviction under this Act, if there is any reason to believe that a person prosecuted for an offense under this Act may abscond and disappear, or if it is found that there has been any loss or damage, the Board shall provide the necessary bond or bail as the case may be. (2) If a person prosecuted for an offense under this Act may destroy or destroy the evidence against him while still in office, the board may suspend such person if there is a reasonable reason to cause disruption in the investigation of the case.
